Former Liverpool Midfielder Momo Sissoko Joins Italian Serie B Side Ternana

Former Liverpool, Juventus and PSG midfielder Momo Sissoko has signed a contract with Serie B side Ternana and will join the Italian side in
the summer.

He has most recently been playing for CSL team Shanghai Shenhua and Indian Super League outfit FC Pune City.

Momo Sissoko will face a relegation battle with his new club second from bottom in Italy’s second tier.
Ternana have won just two of their last 10 games and are currently three points from safety.

They sacked ex-Sheffield Wednesday and Bradford City midfielder Benito Carbone as manager last month and replaced him with former Roma and Napoli player Carmine Gautieri.

Sissoko was a favourite among Liverpool supporters during a two-and-a-half year spell at the club during which he won the FA Cup in 2006.
