Nike Receives 3m Orders For Super Eagles Jersey

Sportswear makers Nike have revealed that they have received over three million orders of the Super Eagles new World Cup jerseys.
This was revealed at a meeting with NFF officials led by Amaju Pinnick at Nike’s Europe headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands where they also announced the release of the jerseys to happen on the 29th of May with the jersey believed to cost around N30,000.
According to NFF second vice-president Shehu Dikko, “The meeting was at the instance of Nike. The company’s representatives at the meeting expressed delight with the performances of the various national teams since they came on board and we both agreed that it was time for a much bigger contract. That would be actualized very soon,”
“The new Super Eagles’ jerseys will be released into the global market, including several NIKE shops across Nigeria, on 29th May 2018, just before the Eagles fly out to London for the friendly match against England. The cost would be $85 for one.”
The jerseys which was revealed in February is yet to hit the global market and much anticipation awaits next week Tuesday as Nigerians prepare to cheer their team on in Russia come June 14th.
