Everton beat Arsenal in race to sign K.A.S. Eupen Henry Onyekuru
The teenage striker was in breath-taking form last season scoring 22 goals in 38 games to finish as joint leading scorer in the Belgian Super League.
And the Toffees got the Nigerian ahead of the Gunners and other top European sides, who all scouted the youngster.
Onyekuru is believed to have undergone a medical at Everton’s Finch Farm training base on Monday and agreed personal terms – with his contract having a £6.8m release clause.
Despite his move to Goodison Park, he will spend next season on loan at Anderlecht as he does not yet qualify for a United Kingdom work permit.
